Hello and welcome to the forum.

I've moved your thread from the Introductions forum to here as you'll have a better response from this forum.

If you have a look at the stickey at the top of the forum page "PLEASE READ. Helpful websites...". Look particularly at the link for Government Immigration. Have a read through and then ask away with any questions.

If you were thinking of using a migration agent, their first consultation is usually free without obligation. They would be able to put you in the right direction as to which visa to apply for, skills assessment etc.

Happy reading!

Dolly

Hi Ian, My advice to you is, ring up your counsil regarding visa's or google it and see what you can find out. Also, try looking up seek dot co dot au (do the proper dots mate, this site wont let me give out urls) Find the area that suits you, perhaps perth. look at the trades you and your GF might be interested in, that way you will have an idea what is out there. You can even apply for the job or even contact them regarding sponsership online. You are better coming to NewZealand though, its way more prettier, lol

All the info Ian requires (so far ) is in the sticky threads which is why Dolly pointed him in that direction.
