Hi Janice,

We moved over with our pooch.

We used Airpets, who are based on the boundaries of Heathrow airport, and they were absolutely fantastic. Other companies with good reputations are Golden Arrow (who are in Shropshire) and Ryslip Kennels (links are in the sticky at the top of the forum page: A list of things you need to do before you emigrate).

They deal with all the paperwork, all we had to do was get Milly vaccinated. Can't remember offhand how much they charged but I think it was in the region of £2K. Then there were AQIS fees this end plus kennel fees etc at Spotswood (the quarantine station). You can go and visit your pet whilst they are in quarantine

Milly flew out a couple of days before we did, had a 24 hour non-stop flight to Melbourne and then 30 days in quarantine. She was fine when we picked her up, no problems at all.
