Hi Rich
Yes he is doing the vetassess assessement.
We started the process in September last year, hubby had to gather as much info as possible about his work history, which took a while, our agency checked it was ok before it was sent to vetassess. He passed the first stage and now has to do the practical test.
It might sound obvious but write as much detail about your job as possible
right down to the nuts and bolts you would use. Are you using an agency?
Remi

Hi we will hopefully be going to perth, never been but have recearched
it (losts) and like what we see.
We used an agency because I didnt feel confident enough not to
and also I like having someone to answer all of my never ending questions
but it doesnt mean we will get our visa any quicker or at all
although hubby has had a job offer thanks to them

Emigrating is such an exciting and scary thing to do and Im so glad
I found this forum and can chat to others in the same boat
have you decided which part your going to?

Brisbane is a great and beautiful city you wont be disapointed.
We are with "The Oz Life". Once hubby has passed the practical assessement
(I have every faith in him )then we can apply for our visa"s apparently
this takes around 10 months, so hopefully we will be over there this
this time next year
