Default tribunal - visa refuse

Has anyone had their visa refused and gone to tribunal?
Or does anyone have some advice for it?

Hi Jaynie,

Welcome to the forum.

I don't know anyone who's gone to tribunal over a visa not being granted.

What visa have you been refused and do they tell you why?

Regards,
Karen

I was getting sponsored which the employer side went through. Put all my papers in as asked for then they have said refused as employor didnt show that he hadnt looked for someone younger! They knew all the time I my age plus had an MP backing it! Dont know if their quota is up for this year! But I feel we should take it further! Just thought someone might have some advice!

Hi Jaynie

It all depends on the visa applied for as to whether you can appeal a refusal decision. As I'm no expert, I have no idea if you can or cannot appeal a company sponsored visa.

As you've got this far, I would suggest you contact a migration agent who will be able to advise you of your options.

Hope it all works out for you

Dolly

For some visas there are age limits (we had to apply before we were 40 otherwise we couldn't get in on that particular visa) so I don't know how strong your grounds are for appeal..

I agree with Dolly that you need some professional advice.

Good luck,
Karen

Thanks again for that. Had a look and sent it on to my sponsor for him to have a look.
Anything is worth a try and I feel with all the backing of MP's we had it wasnt looked at fairly!
