hello lucky fellas!
this is really fantastic news that ya are able to move that fast to OZ, other then waiting for months and years for visa to become granted..as it is at the moment.
may i ask in which job area you are going to work? which employer did hire you that quickly?

to be short: i am waiting for a state sponsorship for SA and after that i will probably have to sit my time and wait for SIR-visa to come our way: WHEN???

so the question is: is it useful to explore the job search engines from where i live and apply on line from overseas? i can hardly believe that this could work..I am not on the CSL-list to get a quick visa, I am a dietician-naturopath with selling experience in the health products range...perhaps i should start a new thread about this... can you advise me or..someone else here? You can apply from overseas, but it takes much longer to get a job and also for months you may not get any response. It all depends on whether AU has a demand for that skill and if it's during a period of hiring.
