Default Could you please flay my CV?

Hello Everyone!

I've just prepared my CV (IT) which I'm going to use while looking for a job in Au.
Could you please take a look at it and tell me how does it sound?
Here are the issues I'm worrying about:

1. Is it readable at all?
2. Does it sound to a not-IT person?
3. Does it make good impression about me as a person and as an IT professional?

Dear english native speakers could you please spend a couple of your minutes to help me improving my CV?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Ursus Spelaeus,

I removed your CV since it contained all your personal information and this is an open forum.

Please amend your CV to remove your address, email and phone number and then re-post that version of your CV to the forum if you want people to check it.

Personally I would NEVER load that sort of personal info to an open forum.

Regards,
Karen

Dear Karen, thank you for your notice! But before posting my CV here I have replaced my real personal details with the fake ones. And if I do not break this forum's laws then may I put my CV here again?

Thanks!

Being in a similar field, I feel you need to re-write your CV. The current version is between CV and a Resume.

Here is what I can see... Categorize your experience, it adds to readability.

1. Categorize your experience in programming languages - C++, C
2. Categorize your experience in various platforms - ARM, MIPS, PPC, Intel and various development, debug and testing tools and methods that you used in each platform.
3. Categorize your experience in Windows MFC, Win32 API etc
4. Categorize your experience in RTOS, Linux, Windows Systems
5. Categorize your software development experience by Software Development Life Cycle - Resource Planning, Software Architecture/Requirements, Design (High Level, Low Level), Coding, Unit /White Box Testing, System Functional / Integration / Black Box Testing, Field Testing.
6. There is no detail of your education background (Masters, Bachelors etc) and other professional courses and certificates

There is no point in preparing single CV in your case. Your experience caters to different domains, and you must prepare 3-5 CVs highlighting experience in specific domains.

In short => Seek an "Aussie Professional CV Writer". He will do the job for you.

I always thought that a CV and a resume were the same thing - simply different terms!

I haven't applied for any IT positions here so I can't help.

CV is prepared for technical and project management guys. It's usually anywhere between 2-10 pages. It is very detailed and normally includes your detailed role (role name, what work was done by you, what was team size, what quality procedures were followed, what tools and programming languages were used by you, what did you learn from the project etc etc).

Resume is for Management People and Human Resources/Recruitment People. They are only bothered to see how much experience, what was your role, what was your field/domain. Important part here is first page usually does not include any technical words (tools/technologies). Usually it is 1-2 max pages.
