No Answer from DIAC...

I have applied in December, 08 and had been allocated with CO in June,09.

All required docs uploaded and medicals finalized in July, 09.

Still no answer from Case Officer.

I telephoned them 2~3 times and put PLE but no proper update.

On telephone, they said it is routine and in response of PLE, they replied me templated. (already prepared answers).

Advice me...

The processing priority was changed on 23 September to this:
The Minister has set priority processing arrangements which apply to the following visas from 23 September 2009:
•
Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS)
•
Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (RSMS)
•
General Skilled Migration (GSM) visas except for:
o
Skilled – Recognised Graduate Subclass 476
o
Skilled – Designated Area – Sponsored (Residence) Subclass 883
o
Skilled – Regional Subclass 887.
Under the Ministerial Direction, the following processing priorities (with highest priority listed first) apply:
1. applications from people who are employer sponsored under the ENS and the RSMS
2. applications from people who are nominated by a State/Territory government and whose nominated occupation is listed on the Critical Skills List (CSL)
3. applications from people who are sponsored by family and whose nominated occupation is listed on the CSL
4. applications from people who are neither nominated nor sponsored but whose nominated occupation is listed on the CSL
5. applications from people who are nominated by a State/Territory government whose nominated occupation is not listed on the CSL
6. (i) applications from people whose occupations are listed on the Migration Occupations in Demand List (MODL) and
(ii) applications from people who are sponsored by family and whose nominated occupation is not listed on the CSL.
7. all other applications are to be processed in the order in which they are received.

Looks like you are priority 4 at this time. Timelines have not come in to say how long it takes based on that. So the only option at this point is to wait.

If you can get a job offer or state sponsorship then your priority goes up.

Malik......You belong to CLS or not.
When you called Diac what did they say. You called after September 23rd.
The same situvation I am also facing.

Yes, i belong to CSL.

most of december 08 applicant have gotten their visas.

i telephoned them today morning and she said that there is nothing unusual against my case and the best way is to have patient.

your case is even worse than mine....

what have you done so far with your case updates???

Normally after Medicals 5 to 9 weeks waiting is required.
That's why i am waiting. But next week a call to Diac is required from me.
The word Patience should be immediately removed from dictionary.
Actually Diac says applications are taken as per longment order.
But in practical things are far different.

yes, u r right but for me its too long...

I sent PLE last week and get reply this morning and they simply said me to have patient.

What v could do but to wait...
