PLE Reply regarding CSL status.

Hello to all,

I had lodged PLE on Oct. 7, 2009 telling DIAC about me on MODL (IT Professional) & So on CSL

After 9 days I got this reply.

It states:

"Thank you for your e-mail in relation to your visa application under
Australia’s General Skilled Migration program.

This information has been attached to your visa application for your case
officer’s attention. Once allocated your case officer may contact you if
they require any additional information."

Would you please clarify that Does it mean that my status has been updated as CSL in my application. Am I right?

Please guide me as I m little confused about it.

yes u r right, they hv done the CSL bit, and they will contact u when they need any more docs

I'm less than convinced. They did put Once allocated in the reply which is a fancy way of saying ... Someday, in the future ...

Sorry dear amaslam, I am not getting your point ... Can any one Please guide more with some explanation.

the email is self explanatory, it means they have noted in your file that you are on CSL and once you have a CO he/she will contact you if they need further documents.

Hi RJUmar,
did you revalidate your assessment and lodged PLE with form 1100 for updating/replace your nominated skill with claiming CSL/MODL? Cause i would also like to do so as my previous assessment didnt cover CSL (although the immig app is already launched....)

I am already on CSL and I just sent PLE to inform them that I am IT Prof. and on MODL so please update my status as CSL.

I also have the same Question. I applied online? in online application form there is only option to mention if I am in MODL.No option for CSL.Is it mandatory to send them mail and inform them of my CSL status?

What I understand from all forementioned discussion that there is a category for 2231-79 Computing Professional (nec) but nothing for specialisation (Unix,Linux,Sap etc) so you need to raise it under 2231-79 (nec) and inform DIAC through PLE "Sir, my profession is under CSL so kindly update it, because u dont know about it, so i am providing u all this secret", what a daunting task, I think DIAC should update their application and put this option as well, hope u r clear now.
