Need help with info on emmigrating to Perth

Hi we have our flights booked one way to perth in 15wks an we have our 1 year working holiday visa with a 4 year extension but are not sure on the terms of getting residency and would like to know how others got residency and citizenship as we will be newly wed and are hoping to start a better life in australia. He works as an agricultural contractor but if he needs to do 3 months farming to get the extra year on his visa, would that mean i would too??

Welcome to the forum.

If you check out the "Please read..." post towards the top of the forum that has links to visa & immigration websites.

The other thing you could do is go to an expo and get some advice from agents. I'm not an agent, just someone who went through the process last year. We went through the skilled independent visa route. We've been out here since July 2007 so we will probably go for the citizenship test in 2009 and then get our citizenship in July 2009.

Sorry I didn't understand the last question about getting an extra year on your OH's visa.
