Default Got my ACS results

Hi guys,

Thanks to each and everyone who had helped me out in filing my ACS application. I cant believe tht I got my ACS results. Last week my status changed to "Case Finalized". I was surprised when the post reached on Saturday.... Well below is my result description I have received the code 2231-79 (c# specialist) which is wht i had requested for.

"Your skill have been assessed to be suitable for migration under 2231-79 (C# specialist) of the ASCO code being the skilled occupation indication that you indent to nominate in a General skilled Immigration application. Based on the provided certified documentation it is the opinion of the ACS that the applicant has 12 months experience in C#. "

My doubt is Am I given CSL or MODL???

Hi Cintai:

You are on CSL+MODL. This line proves it:
the applicant has 12 months experience in C#

If you don't have that line then you are MODL only.

Good luck

HI again

I suggest u both take IELTS, setup a date for court marriage, because marriage registration takes lot of time, ours took 6 months. if u r lucky u might make it in 2-3 months but u wudnt want to waste time, would u?

U can not apply for the visa without a marriage certificate. our skill assessment was done in May, we applied for the visa in Sept, had to wait all along for the marriage registration.

Since the Passport remains the same for your spouse, its better to take the ielts now.

And remember the CSL can be reviewed an updated anytime, it is due anyways, I dont know if this would work but have u checked the option of applying for the visa at the earliest and later, once u have the marriage certificate, sending a change of circumstances form and add your spouse.. I dont know if this is possible but ask a few consultants if it is possible. in the meantime, find out about the time it takes for marriage registration, if u book a date fr court marriage, they give u 40 days time after getting a date with them, it is faster and easier that way to get the marriage certificate. check that option as well. had we knows ours would take so long, we would have gone the court marriage route.

but when u say church marriage, u anyways hv to get it registered with the local registration office, which is what takes time. ours was hindu marriage, we gave the pandit's letter, plus our pic, our parents affidavits plus they were present for all 10 visits tht we made at the registrars office, we even gave the invoice from the wedding venue. it was frustrating, specially when u r paying for the job, still they take their own sweet time.
