Default Online Skills Docs Request

Hi
I have submitted my ACS Skill Assessment Application online and then courier the required docs in a file on the same day. After 3-4 days i have received an email from skill assessment officer with below text:

Sub:Online Skills Docs Request

I refer to your application for Skills Assessment and wish to advise that before the processing of your application can be finalised, further documentation is required:

* Certified copy of your birth certificate or passport and all Australian Visas (if you have worked or studied in Australia).

* Certified copy of your qualification certificate.

* Certified copy of the complete and final academic transcript for your qualification.

* Certified copy of proper and detailed employer references to support your professional experience.

Employer References
These should be on company letterhead and include the job title, a detailed job description and precise dates of employment. They should also clearly state whether employment was full or part-time along with demonstrated levels of competence with any computer languages, the various types of hardware and software used and the extent of involvement with any major projects. Letters of appointment or contracts are not accepted.

Certified Documents
Please do not send originals, as liability cannot be accepted for original documents.

All original documents (and the translation into English where required) are to be photocopied and certified by an official of the appropriate immigration office, a Justice of the Peace or a notary public official. Photocopies or faxed copies of certified documents are not acceptable.

Documents submitted for assessment will not be returned to the applicant therefore it is in the applicant's own interest to have multiple copies certified.
When sending in extra documents please attach a copy of this email or list your reference number.

If after 35 days (if you live in Australia) or 49 days (if you live overseas) from the date of this letter, the requested documentation is not received the Australian Computer Society will forward your file to an Assessor , whereupon a result will be issued on the documentation held.

PLEASE NOTE THAT FURTHER REQUESTS WILL NOT BE MADE FOR ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTATION.

I have already sent all the documents in the file and uploaded the same while submitting my application online. Do i need to send them again or shall i send an email and ask them. Please suggest.

since its been just 4 days since u sent your documents, i doubt they have received them. u can write back with courier/registered post details that the documents have been sent. or check with your courier guy if they have received it yet or not.. try tracking it down

as for the email, i think it is the automated one which they send to everyone who applies online..

Hi Deepz,

Did u check with the courier. You can track online and confirm whether its delivered or not. I applied online a week back and send the docs through courier. I didn't receive any confirmation mail or request mail from ACS regarding the document. I only have the autoreply mail from ACS while the time of online submission, which mentioned my userid and passwd. My status is still "to be allocated" after 10 days.
You can reply to ACS with your courier details, also check with courier. Keep update.

This means tht they are not happy with the documents you have submitted. They are expecting more proofs. So I collect more documents and send them before 45 days if you are outside Australia.

I submitted my application online on 8th August 2009. I got the email with password on the same day. They received the courier on 11th August 2009. I have checked that on DHL website. I received email from assessment officer for further documentation on 12th August. I am not understanding why are they asking for the same docs that i have sent. I have snet passport, all academic certiifcates and employer references certified from notary. It means I have to sent the whole docs again. Still confused...

Hi Deepz,

Did you check the status online? whats your online status?
Did they charged your credit card?
Did you mentioned the Application Id or send a copy of the auto-reply mail you received with your userid and password along with the courier?

You should send an email to them with the courier details and confirm what additional documents they required.?

Send a mail to the Officer saying tht you had sent all the docs thru courier already and shuld you be sending any further documents. Trust me they are friendly and respond with details. So instead of confusing urself ask the assessment officer itself.
