Default Get us to Perth Quick!

Hi All,

We (Me, Wife, and 2 Kids) have just started looking into our options for moving to Oz but are well and truly confused by all the visa options??

Easiest way seems to be to get sponsored by an employer but not sure the best way to go about finding an employer to sponsor me???

Have also looked at the unsponsored route but as I have a broad career background and no formal Qualifications we are short on points.

Which then brought me onto the Student Visa route (Study a degree?).

Is there anyone who has made it over without one of the in demand skills or has used one of the routes mentioned (or another) that can offer any advice on the best way to go??

Or someone that would be willing to sponsor/employ me (If you dont ask you dont get!) I am willing (and able) to do pretty much any job!

Thanks

Dan

Hi Dan,

Welcome to the forum.

Have you had any free consultations with any emigration agents?
They may be able to offer the best advice.

We came over as skilled independents but I know that there are some people on this forum that have been sponsored. It may be worth doing a search through the post if you haven't done that already...

Regards,
Karen

Not too sure about it ? but but but; numbers seem to migrate to New-Zealand, perhaps get their NZ nationality and then simply fly over to Oz' - I don't think New-Zealanders need visas' to come and live in Oz' ?

I've heard that the route for moving to NZ and then to Oz was stopped a while ago, so if you are considering that I would speak to a migration agent to make sure what's available.

Regards,
Karen
