Default Spouse Visa Application - Additional information required by consulate in dubai

Hi All,
I have had applied for my wifes visa (i am already an australian PR). Australian consulate has came back and asked for the following

1- Witnessed statements from two people who know both the applicant and spouse/fiancé and their attested passport copies

On point # 1, i dont know anyone who is an australian PR or citizenship, so do i need to ask my relative (non PR holder and non residents of australia) to fill out form 888 or they need to write it on a plain A4 paper. Then on attestation, can i get a head of the department of a bank to sign and stamp the forms (i work for the bank). It would be great if someone can help me out and tell me that wats the best way to approach this and wat is required for it.

2- Marriage certificate (certified copy required as the one on file is English translation and copy of original marriage certificate)

On point # 2, i have provided them a translated copy of the marriage certificate (mine is in arabic as i got married in dubai UAE). The copy was translated by a legal entity and they had stamped all the pages. Now i dont really understand what they require. Do they require me to send them the original marriage certificate (i have two copies so i can send them one as long as they return it). But keep in mind its in Arabic.

3- Evidence that the sponsor is `usually resident in Australia'; (for e.g. any offer letters from Australia)

On Point # 3. I have not moved to australia as such, coz i was waiting for my wife to get the visa so we both can move. Visa was granted to me on 1st may 08 and my last visit was btween 26th to 4th August 08. I also was not able to move as my wife was pregnant and we had complications (due to which my daughter expired). I dont have a job offer from australia so how do i cover this point.

4- Personal Census certificate or birth certificate for applicant and dependant child

On Point # 4. My wife's birth certificate is somewhat non existant. I asked my inlaws and they told me that it was lost during shifting from one house to another about 15 years back. Her date of birth is on the passport so
how can i provide them with the birth certificate.

I need to respond to them within 3 weeks so would require your help. Anyone helping would be highly regarded.

Hi

1. they basically want references from 2 or more people who have seen you together. cant help u in this. let someone else reply

2. u do not send them priginals, u send them certified/attested photocopies. they do not return any paper. it stays with them fro good.

3. you give them the photocopy of PR stamp on the visa along with the grant letter.

4. for the birth certificate, you give them 10th pass certificate which has the date of birth, along wiht that get 2 affidavits made, one form your wife's side and one from her folks stating her date of birth as XXX. I dont know where u r from but u can also try getting a new birth certificate from teh department where it was registered.

Hope this helps

Cheers
Anj
