Just Starting!

Hi,

I am really looking for alot of help so hopefully i will find it here as i just dont know where to start!

My boyfriend and i want to emigrate to Australia! I am a citizen as my parents emigrated in 1989 and we came back to the uk in 1995. I do have an australian passport which i pressume i can just update (it expired in 1998!).

My boyfriend is on the Skilled Workers list.. does he need to find work before we come out or can we do that on arrival.

And also what about our son?

We want to know that one of us at least has a job to come out to.

I just don't know where to start really.. its all a bit daunting!

oh you're just bursting with questions just like I was when I thought abt migrating. If you look at the sticky posts on the top of the forum, you will see lots of information and links to look into that can probably answer many of your questions. If you still need more help, search first to see if it has been asked and answered already and of course, everyone here would be happy to help you in way we can.

it isnt easy securing a job before u land but u being an AU citizen, i dont know how much it help since they 1. want u physically in front of them for the interview and 2. prefer those who have AU experience
