Is it worth it?!

Hi guys,
Great forum...
Just really want to know some peoples experience of Aus lately.
Myself and partner our coming out to study in Aus next year (at great expense!)
and I would just like to know how it really is out there...
We are going to be studying for 2 years on our prospective courses then fingers crossed we will go for Pr. We will be in Melbourne whilst studying and are going to need to find part time work to help us stay afloat while there.
Any help would be appreciated (ideally of anyone who has done this?)
Ultimately we are not sure where we would base ourselves after study but Melbourne seemed right for us to get our qualifications...

Hi Darren,

I can't speak as a student but we moved from UK to Australia that took great expense and a lot of time (and patience!) and for us YES it was worth it.

There are several posts about what it's like to live here in Australia and I suggest you find and read through them to get an idea of members experiences.
