Hi Buddies,

I am new to this forum, I would like to have your thoughts and answers for one my doubts.

I am a Dot Net technology professional with 4 years and 10 months of experience. And my degree qualification is B.E in computer science and Engineering.

My job duties in my first company, (Software Programmer)

Responsible for web application software implementation by using web technologies such as ASP Dot Net, HTML, CSS, Java Script, Testing and software maintenance. Specializes in Microsoft based technologies like C# Dot Net, ASP Dot Net, ADO Dot Net, Winform Dot Net, XML Dot Net, WeServices and MS SQL Server.

(1)Responsible for creating web application user interface
(2)Database scripting for the web application
(3)Testing , debugging and Deploying the web application
(4)Worked on creating custom web application services
(5)Configuration, Maintenance and Support for the web application.

My job duties in my second company,(Software Engineer)
Responsible for High level design, Low level design, C # Dot Net coding, Testing and software maintenance. Specializes in Microsoft based technologies like C# Dot Net, ASP Dot Net, ADO Dot Net, Winform Dot Net, XML Dot Net, WeServices and MS SQL Server.

Responsible in Design, Development, Testing and Maintenance of Microsoft Windows Forms applications.

(1) Responsible for creating user services
(2)Worked on creating and managing different layers of software components and assemblies (3)Testing and debugging of software components and assemblies
(4)Worked on creating deployment packages and deployment support for the application Configuration, Maintenance and Support for the application.

My job duties in third company,(Technical Leader)

Technical Leader my responsibilities includes providing product support, identifying and resolving product issues, product enhancements and product maintenance. Also, I have been responsible for creating High level design, Low level design, and C # Dot Net coding, Testing and software maintenance.

During this time I am working in vast amount of Client/Server, Database and Distributed technologies as Winforms Dot Net, C# Dot Net, Visual Studio Dot Net 2005, Dot Net Framework 2.0, Web Services, Dot Net Remoting ,SQL Server 2005 and XML Dot Net.


• Technical requirements specification, Analysis and High level Design
• Low level design implementation, Testing and Maintenance of the application
• Resolving technical issues providing product support, identifying and resolving product issues, bug fixing, enhancements, product maintenance, preparing and executing test cases.
• Resolving product issues identified by IT Client services team and reporting the resolved issues
• Technical Quality Analysis
• Writing Complex Stored Procedures, Database backup management, Database tuning, Data Migration, Data Analysis, Data Transformation packages and Triggers.

For the third company I have given Self Declaration as I could not get any experience letter from this company as this is the company which I am currently working on.

My doubt is will be assessed under CSL category.In my ACS application I have given my ASCO code as 2231-79.

Please clear my doubt. Thanks in advance.

Hi Kanags:

It just doesn't appeared to be focussed in .NET to get the .NET CSL points specialty. I can see it being passed for MODL but not for CSL. But again I'm not ACS so I don't know exactly how they assess.
