Few members requested to post the time line.....I have updated the timeline thread and updated the timeline site (BEupdate - Timeline Spreadsheet for Australian Visa Applications) as well.

Here is the time line.

Application sent 03.12.2008
Got FileNumber: 08.12.2008
Got CaseOfficer: 06.04.2009 (asked to submit PCC and Meds by 3rd May 2009)
Requested for the extension for submission of PCC and Meds and got Extended till 7th July 2009.
Sumitted PCC and Medicals: 30.06.2009
Visa Grant: 10.07.2009

Pending Stuff:
Validate the visa before 03.06.2010

My agent has sent the appln to DIAC and the documents are in transit.

What will be the next step ?, will they give file number or trn number. pls guide.

Can i start the medicals and pcc after i get it.?

Hallo Nandi,

If applied a Paper Visa you will get File number
If applied online by agent then you will get TRN Number.

Taking medicals depends on type of Visa.
If applying Visa 175 csl atleast wait for 90 days
