engineering in australia

hi,
i'm ahamed,i intent to go Australia to do engineering.some one says engineering is not a good profession there.so please let me know the engineer's status there.and is overseas engineering graduate gets difficult to get a find a job than others

I always think Engineering is a good profession in most countries of the world (people are always needed to build things). In AU you would have the best chance if involved in Civil Engineering or Engineering related to Resources (mining, oil exploration, industry - Mechanical, Petroleum, Mining).

If you are coming here to initiate your studies then there are paths to PR available graduates of AU universities.

Engineers are amongst the good paid guys over here , just dont think come here and study.
You will get PR and job very soon when you complete your studies.

Depends what part of engineering you specialise in, as said previous once you have finished your studies there is work for civil engineers and mining engineers which seem to be the highest paid jobs
