Please can anyone tell me if they know any airlines that will carry my dog from uk to sydney, without having to have a pet carrier service do it for you as we want to do it ourselves. Thanks!!

I think that everyone I've heard of bringing dogs into the country used a pet carrier service. If you do a search on the forum I know that there were a lot of posts about bringing dogs into the country at one time.

Regards,
Karen

Good luck Angela,

All you need do is to take advice from your carrier on when vaccinations will need to be done and they'll do the rest.

Also, and this is very important, make sure that if your dog's annual booster is due, make sure the dog does NOT have the lepto part of the vaccination as this will have an affect the blood tests - which will cause a delay.

Dolly

PS don't forget you will also have an extra quarantine fee this end of around $900 on top of the carriers fees
