Well...
after 2 years i finally got the visa. It's time now to prepare the moving.
The time they gave me to go for the first time is too short, so I will do a research trip to activate the visa.

I'm going to Melbourne this august, and a have not decided yet where to stay, St Kilda or CBD... what is ur recomendation?

Can anyone tell me some suburbs to be worth to visit? I need to find a place to arrive when moving next year.

thx a lotĦĦĦĦ

Hi Uli:

Congratulations

2 yrs is a very long time so please post your timeline to the Timeline thread (the link is in the last Sticky).

Could you post your preferences for a place to live so we can give some guidance.

Things like:
Cost
train line
where is work?
do you want to be in an ethnic area with the same ethnicity as you?

thx anj1976 & Pankaj.

amaslam,

basically i will move there to start over a whole new life in all senses... so, it does not really matter to find "my" ethnic area. In fact I have not heard a lot about mexicans there.
i dont have a job allready, so do not know where would be the best area for living, so when I get one I would be able to choose one. Thats why I wanna know as many of suburbs possible to know how get there by public transport and the way of living. To be "ready" .
