South Australia State Sponsorships - Update

I received this email today from South Australia and thought it may be useful to pass the information on:

Dear Migration Agent

RE:SPONSORSHIP LISTS- SOUTH AUSTRALIA

I appreciate that there might be some concerns out there about the Sponsorship Lists. I would like to advise you that the Occupation Lists for both Permanent and Provisional Sponsorships posted on our website (Make The Move :: Home) are still current until further notice.

Immigration SA is currently revising both these lists in their entirety and will continue to sponsor occupations on the current lists until the revised lists are posted on our website or the planning levels are reached. Once an application is submitted on-line and the documents are received by Immigration SA within 60 days, any changes to the list will not disadvantage the applicant.

Development of these lists involves significant research and consultation with other agencies Immigration SA has to follow due process within the framework of Government before they can be finalised and published.

Every effort will be made to advise you when the new lists are published. Meanwhile you should also visit Make The Move :: Home regularly for any updates.

Hi SOMV,

I was going through the forum and there was suggestion to check with you on this issue, I have post the question earlier on the RRV renewal. Hope you could help out.

Nancyng has posted some guideline on RRV requirement but I wanted to ask on the whether the requirement is applicable for all class of Visa ( sub class ) or only to specific class.

My questions is :

I am planning to renew my PR. The problem is I am not in Aus at the moment but in NZ. I am working in NZ. I havent fullfilled my 2 year requirement either.

I checked with the Immi and they mentioned I need to state a compelling reason as to why I couldnt be in Aus.

I am workign for a Aus company though I am relocated to Auckland at the moment. Me and my wife want to settle down in Aus for good and we dont want to let go of the Visa for any reason.

Could you please advise how to go about on stating a compelling reason to get my Visa renewed please.
