Hi Im a newbie here, and my hubby&I (and our 2yrold son) are planning to move to Aussie by end of this yr or early next year. Can anyone pls advise jobsites or companies having opening for CAD designer/operator?
How difficult is it to find job specially during these times? Is the job market improving?

Hi Techy:

CAD Designer is not that common but you can start at the usual jobsites: Careerone and seek.com.au

I do think the job market has improved a bit in the last 2 months. Before all companies put in freezes, but now some have started hiring again (albeit slowly).

Most AU companies this year are going to take the rest of the year to catch their breath and if the world hasn't turned upside down again 2010 is looking fine.

Good luck in your search.
