Default Experience Requirment by ACS

Hello,
I have a question regarding experience required by ACS.
They stated that the applicant should have 4 years of equivalent full time experience.

I have 3.5 years of full time working experience after my graduation and have 1 year of part time (20 hrs/week) experience as well.

My question is am i eligible for Skill Migration under subclass 175?

Regards,
Faisal Habib

Hi Faisal,

Welcome to the forum

no the minimum requirement is 4+ yrs of work experience plus 2 years of relevant studies (in related field) likes masters after graduation. If you do not meet the post graduation requirement then you should have an experience of 6+ years work experience

As i understand that with 4 years of Bachelors degree falls under the category A as mentioned at
acs.org.au/assessment/docs/PIMGuidelines23February2009.pdf

In clause 2.2.8, it clearly show that a 4 years bachelors degree requires 4 years of experience. Please advice

Thanks Pankaj,

Please let me clear one more thing about the part time work experience during my graduation. I have 3 years and 3 months of full time (min 38 hr/week) experience and have also 1.5 year of part time (min 20 hr/week) experience.

My question is that am i eligible for 4 years equivalent full time experience criteria?
How can i validate part time work experience? Is it based on the number of hours or any thing else?

Regards,
Faisal Habib

Hi Faisal, pls find enclosed requirements:

1) Bachleors in computers then u need 4 yrs of exp.
2) Bachleors in other stream then u need 6 yrs of exp.
3) Bachleors in other stream but have 2 yrs post graduation in computers then u need 4 yrs exp.

Part time experience is calculated on pro-rata basis...pls calculate according to that.

Pankaj, your frnd is not eligible for the moment, as 4 yrs experience is required irrespective of Bachelors or Post graduation degree in computers.
