Default De-facto Visa : need help

Hi,

Highly appreciate if some one can give some info on the below:
I have a Polish passport and my boy friend is Sri Lankan. We have been living together for 6 months in Sri Lanka from February to July 2008. I had to leave Sri Lanka after that to complete my Post graduate studies which I will be completing in July 2009.

At the same time my boy friend got his Australian student visa for 2 years to complete his Post graduate studies. Now we both want to be together after so many months of being a part.

I can get a letter from my then land lord that we stayed together in Sri Lanka for 6 months. I can also prove that I went to visit him to Sri Lanka in December 2008 for a week. But unfortunately we dont have any shared accounts in any financial institutions or any proof for shared bills.

In this context how do you think we can apply for a De-facto visa.

thanks
Swietlana

Hi Swietlana

Just wondering if you ever got any help with your questions? I am also investigating a de facto visa but I am having difficulty finding anybody with any practical experience.
