Default CO allocated - Further info request

Hi,

I've finally been allocated a CO yesterday and we've been asked to send our medicals and PCCs now. No issues here. Everything is great.

However she's also asked us to provide more info on my 'Evidence of Employment'. I need to get a more detailed letter from work with my exact duties and proportion of my time I spend on each.

I'm a 175 Applicant (CSL) - ASCO code for Electrical Engineering. I work in a company where I am in both the software and engineering fields.

Has anyone got a format for the detailed letter for Evidence of Work? Any help much appreciated.

Many Thanks

Hi,

I haven't found anywhere that has a format for what you are asking, but I found this recent thread:

175 - Evidence of Specific Work Experience vs. Work experience

Also, this may be of some help: Skilled – Independent (Migrant) Visa (Subclass 175)

If you add supporting documents such as a reference letter from your employer; copies of contracts; engagement letters; payslips; an organisational chart then I pretty much guess you've covered all bases!!!

Thanks Dolly. Very useful info in the link you provided.

I think the CO basicaly wants more details from my employer in the letter that was sent. That letter gives all the information required but does not go into much details for the 5 main duties I carry out. And since my ASCO is for electrical engineering and my work currently involves other duties like project management, business consultancy and so on apart from elec engineering stuff, she wants to assess how much I'm still involved in elec engineering.

Since the Co has asked for another letter from the employer with more details on the different duties and percentage of my time I spend on each, I need to get a more detailed letter from my employer (that extrapolates on the first letter sent). I hope that should be fine.

I have been working for over 5 years at my current employer (for a total of 9 years experience). That should cover the 3 out of 4years requirement. I've attached payslips, supperanuation information, contracts and any other relevant info I could lay my hands on.

Please let me know what you think.
And many thanks again for the congrats and info.
Cheers

Sounds very similar to the document we had to do for our RPL. We had to get a Employer Statement detailing work experience etc.

It was written on company letterhead and started:

"I confirm that XXXXX was employed by this firm during the period xx/xx/xx to xx/xx/xx."

We then itemised work history by:
Job Title
Department Name
Dates

Then an inordinate amount of info on what duties were performed, probably about 2/3s of a page for each job.

So, what we did was write the thing ourselves and then get someone of a higher position within the company to sign it. That way you get the level of info you need.

We have agents who post on here and SOMV (Veronika) posts more frequently, so why not send her a copy and ask her what she thinks before getting someone to sign it.

HTH
