Hi nickpeo,

If you do a search (the site has a search facility) you'll find some answers since this question is popular

I used Emigration group (Jobs in New Zealand, visa Australia, jobs in Australia, visa NZ - The Emigration Group) based in the UK, Dolly used George Lombard (Welcome to Austimmigration | George Lombard Consultancy Pty. Ltd.) in Oz, and there are agents on the forum such as SOMV.

Whoever you use make sure that they are MIA/MARA registered (link in the 'PLEASE READ....' post).

Also it may be worth checking whether it's cheaper to use an agent where you are now or one in Oz with the changing exchange rates.

Regards,
Karen

And also, always approach at least 3 agents to compare fees and what they will do for it.

hi nickpeo,

Dolly is correct we checked out at least 3 agents and we opted for the visa bureau in London. We based our decision on completing the eligibility points test and they were the only ones to call us in person all the others just seemed to bombard us with e-mails wanting money to proceed with the visa.

The visa bureau employees have been really helpful even though my Case worker kept sending back my references asking for more detail before he lodged applications but fingers crossed everything has been approved first time. Be aware that there is a lot of work ahead but the positives keep you buzzing, at times it felt like running a marathon with someone moving the finish line but when it all comes together you know you can keep on running to achieve your dream
