i all!

Well started filling out the spousal visa form.. hell they want alot if info!
There is one section of on criminal..

I have a Dr10 - driving with alcohol in blood that resulted in an 11 month ban and fine. Do i put this down on the form, would this affect it?

Also, the section that states how much money are you planning to take over... its hard to say at this stage. If we put 0 .. would this affect my chances? - we could take thousands but i was going to use that to pay of existing uk bills..

Helpful advice would be appreciated.

You should disclose everything because if they find out after the fact that you didn't put it down you'll be worse off.
Isn't there a place that says "if you have answered 'yes' to any of the above questions please explain"? I think there is so just write down the facts of what happened.

Don't put 0. When I filled out my form I put "approx" before I put in a dollar amount. I don't know exactly -to the penny- how much money I have but I can estimate. That question is mostly so they know that once you get there you'll be able to support yourself if you can't find a job right away.

We sent our spousal visa form off a week and a half ago. Good luck!!

Hi there Pooks,

Megera is right. If you don't put down your endorsement and it's found out, it may well compromise your application. TBH I'm not sure if it would affect your application, but I wouldn't want to take the risk. You could always ask one of the agents who post on here and see what they say. SOMV (Veronika) has posted quite a lot recently. You can contact her via her signature.

We just guessed an amount, they don't really care how much it is, I think they like to see that you're not coming over with no means of support.

Dolly
