Hi,

I don't think we were specific with days, but we put the month and the year. Some we couldn't remember so we put down the dates that we knew were close enough to it....who remembers every single overseas trip they've had over the years?!!! - I can't

I did mine by looking at all the stamps in the passport. You should have pairs for entry and exit from each overseas country. They normally have dates in the stamps. But if it's illegible or something I got by using 1st of the month I travelled and year.

i.e. May 1, 2006

Also if there's not enough space on the form you can just type it up on a separate sheet and attach it to the application.

But if you live in the UK and travelled to say Switzerland, Germany, Italy, France etc you don't get your passport stamped. We did a lot of Switzerland trips (visiting friends), my husband did a lot of Germany trips (for work), used to do Paris twice a year with my mates too and didn't get my passport stamped once. That's when we found it difficult to try to recall dates.

It was easy with our US trips and we did get our passports stamped.

Thanks Dolly, totally forgot about the Schengen stuff (one stamp at entry and then it's open borders all around)
