Default found a way in!

i finally found a way in after a few days hunting on the web. my daughter can become a australian citizen by decent coz her mum ( ex wife ) is australian. it only costs $110 to get this status for her so im in the process of getting the cash together and sorting this out for her. THEN im going to get a family visa for myself when i go over to visit and ill go for residence visa then to perm visa because my daughters a citizen. my ex wife said she would sponsor me for the 2 years so thats ok. OR the crazy idea is i can get citizenship aswell as my daughters classed australian citizen aswell. DOWNSIDE is theres only 700 visas given out a year and theres a waiting list of 12800 people so at this rate ill get that visa in 18 years lol wouldnt be any point by then coz id be 43 and my daughter would be 20

well i havnt started to process yet, gotta save up now for a while but i got a clear understanding of whats involved, waiting 18 yrs is a bummer tho, but i kno i got a way in by getting ym daughter citizenship for now. also with her having this citizenship its easier to come and go in airport cues lmao i just dont join the british cue when i get to oz so ill get my bags quicker!!
as for that tunnel, i can see the tunnel ahead but i havnt entered it yet coz im scared of the dark and what ill see at the other end lol. i will get the fees saved up then weigh up the pros vs the cons coz id be giving up alot here and also over there aswell. my lil girl dont wanna go but shes only 3 so what would she know!, im doing it for her future and she will thank me for it in 18 yrs time im sure!. i told her she wont av to do what daddy done and get a whm visa she can just go and stay as long as she wants and she sed, i dont wanna dad i want you.

Wise words antmeister. All your daughter knows is her dad and that you have always been there to protect her etc. that is what you should try and focus on, even if she is 18 by the time she goes to Oz, or if she goes on her own before you, whatever, it's irrelevant, because if it doesn't work out and she doesn't get on with mum or Oz, she will ALWAYS come back to YOU.

Take it from a 35 year old dad's girl! and my dad died in February, i always got on more with and bonded better with my dad than my mum. Funnily enough my dad was heaps more paternal than my mum was maternal.

So antmeister no matter what the consequences are, your daughter will always love you and be drawn towards you. Hold onto that thought.

take care
