sponsors in sydney

hello all,
this is my first post-i'm really looking to move to australia but it's hard to know where to start. i'm a graphic designer looking for a sponsor in (hopefully) sydney. how long should this process usually take between finding a sponsor and getting an application processed? does anyone know if this is an in-demand position there? any words of advice and/or resources would be appreciated (even if it's just general advice for the move or adjusting there). thanks!

Welcome to the forum.

Have you looked at the sticky posts at the top of the forum? If not start with 'Thinking of emigrating' and then try the visa links in the 'PLEASE READ: Helpful websites for your move to Australia'.

That will let you know whether your skills are in demand here.

Also check out the 'Cost of Living' sticky post to give you some idea of costs since it's not as cheap here as people think....
