Hi,

So do I need to create a seperate thread for applications lodged at VFS office, Hyderabad? Correct me if I am wrong, I believe all the applications submitted from within India eventually go to Delhi office for processing. So, any delay caused by submitting at another city other than Delhi would only be by a week.

You are right. All applications submitted in India and Nepal go to AHC Delhi. So we can share timelines here.

Will keep you posted.

I spoke to them on 08 Oct 2010. They said that it takes 5 weeks for CO assignment. Hope this week we get our CO's.

That is very interesting, we got the case officer allocated on 14th Oct and the case officer called and asked for additional docs. We submitted them on 21st Oct at VFS, Hyd. We are on the same timeline. Hope we get it soon.

I still haven't heard anything from case officer. I am just wondering when should we expect to hear from immigration abt the result of the visa. The letter the case officer wrote requesting for additional documents mentioned that they are trying to resolve all cases within 5months of lodgment but I am most certain that it is just the max time a application would ever take. Generally it should take anywhere between 6 to 8 weeks and in case they request for additional docs then may be another 2-3 weeks extra.
