In Sydney and like Indie/Britpop music?

If so then you will be interested in the next Britpop night at the Clare Hotel on Broadway. It is this Saturday 13th Oct and the doors open at 8pm. You'd think coming from Sydney you'de be able to draft in the tiny wee band.................Wolfmother...............No w they're guaranteed to pull in a few punters!

They could come knocking on our door but we would have to turn them away as we do 100% British indie music only...

Yeah you're right ~ send them packing! Why not try dropping Ian Brown a line (letter or phone i'm talking about, his days of drug taking are over ~ or so he says anyway) and try and entice him over, he's a very nice man, professional too! He always comes to Scotland when asked, although he is a total icon in Scotland (on an indie level anyway) and a great crowd pleaser. You'd be hard pushed at Oasis though, seen as they can't be bothered most of the time.

Remember Northside from the old Madchester days? I was reminiscing the other day and done a Torrent download of some their old stuff, they still sound great! Maybe you could chase those old timers up!

i would invite Ian Brown but he would get lost in the crowd, he is only little bless him...

Northside made a come back last year, clearly didn't go to plan... unless their plan was to make little or no impact on the music scene in which case my hat goes off to the fellas, they did a stirling job!

Yeah, i have to agree hopss. My fav bands at the mo are The Zutons, Coral and Arcade Fire, Zutons being my all time favourite.
