On line Visa application

hi we have just started our visa on line application and was wondering if any one else has as well and what do you think how much quicker is it compared to paper application.

how long after sending it do they request medicals and police clearance and what other papers do they ask for

i had a working visa which i applied for online and that was instant, when i got to australia i had to go to immogration in brisbane and they sat me down asked me a few Questions, nothing bad really and then stuck the visa in the back of my passport and i had a year in oz with aas many entrys in and out as i liked. only cost me £65 back then 4 yrs ago

Hi Baby.

We sent our online visa off on 19th when did you send yours? we are still waiting but there are some ( on another forum) who sent them on the 12th and 13th that have a case officer and they have requested their meds and police check. but rememeber police checks take 40 day to come back to you so send for them soon if you haven't already.

Hi Tina we haven't sent it yet we have started it and saved it waiting on TRA should have it back soon we were wondering do we book our medicals now and police clearance so we will have it ready before they ask. i heard its much quicker thats great keep me posted on how you get on and good luck, were you headed

Our agent has told us to hang a bit for our meds, as the panel doc we are going to use only needs a day notice and getting time off work is not a prob for us. We are waiting for our police checks to come back. My sons came back after a week His dad is a policeman so that could have speed it up) but we are still waiting for ours (maybe my OH has some to hide Ha Ha).

We are heading to Adelaide as we have friends there so can stay with them at 1st.

How bout you, where are you heading?

some one recommended a panel doctor in glaway to us so i think we will check him out as he is cheaper than Dublin,thats handy being able to get an appointment so quick we will be waiting a couple of weeks at least.

we are heading to Brisbane we have friends there as well its been great as they are really helping us with schools and a house to rent.

i will do and hopefully we will know soon
