Default Medical reports @ "Health Operations Centre"

Hello All,

What is the best way to contact and inquire about medical reports @ "Health Operations Centre"?

We have filed AU Visitor Visa (s600) from India and gave Chest Xray exam 2 weeks before. Client Service Team, Department of Immigration and Citizenship, Australian High Commission said that couple of weeks before they have have received the medical clearance for applicant-1 but the clearance is still awaited for applicant-2 However situation is not change since then as immigration.India@dfat.gov.au do not reply my email now.

Has anybody tried to follow-up on their medical results processing issues by contacting Health.Operations.Centre@immi.gov.au? do they even entertain our email and reply us ? How much time it takes for a email response?

Is there any alternate way to check the status of medical clearance?

Thanks for your help in advance!

Aarti G

Hello Experts,

as I mentioned before "We have filed AU Visitor Visa (s600) from India and gave Chest Xray exam 2 weeks before. Client Service Team, Department of Immigration and Citizenship, Australian High Commission said that couple of weeks before they have have received the medical clearance for applicant-1 but the clearance is still awaited for applicant-2 "

And Medical and Radiology Clinic (India) where they have done their X-rays confirmed that both applicants reports have been uploaded (within couple of days of test) for review Health.Operations.Centre and looking at above response from Health.Operations.Centre they are not proving any info

Since we are using a RMA (registered migration agent ) for this Visa we are not sure who is case officer assigned ? Is there anyway to find it out?

Thanks,
Aarti

Hi Aarti ,

Even though you are applying through an agent you will be allocated a case officer to process ur application...
Check your email registered with DIAC you will get CO details on the same (Check Spam, Trash Folders), if you have not get the details I think CO is yet not assigned.... Below scenario on health is for PR visa not sure if same applies to visitor visa.
Check on Immi site : Arranging a Health Examination

As far as medical is concerned...There are two ways Medicals are cleared..
1. On Local Level :Medicals which get clearance on local level (approved by CO ) means that applicant have no adverse medical condition & OZ will have no threat from them
2. MOC level:Medicals which are referred to MOC says that applicant have some medical condition which needs to have more attention...If applications are referred to MOC this will take some time as MOC always have heavy back logs with them..

In your case it seems to me one applicant got the health clearance on local level and other applicant health must have referred to MOC for further review...Does any applicant on your application had TB is past or have you declared some health condition on medical form.

In my view wait for some time DIAC Or CO will ask for further details or if you want immediate answer try calling DIAC....

All the Best....Hope this will give you some insight on how it works...

Regards,
Shipra
