Default How to get Invitation for regional visa 187?

Hi everyone,

I am a new user in this nice forum. I hope all the best and get useful discussion and help..

I just submitted my EOI and because no IELTS test that I have, I selected visa Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (subclass 187) which that's possible to exempt IELTS

Now I am waiting for invitation nominated by an approved Australian employer located in regional Australia

So please?

How can I get the invitation? what I must do?
how to contact the regional states to support my application?
anything supports me to get better and stronger opportunities?

Thanks And Regards

This kind of visa you must have at least IELTS 4.5 or you can also get exemption for visa nominated by employer in regional Australia only, this to encourage people to work in these areas.

through filling in my EOI form, it was asked me if you you want to exempt this to submit completed EOI application, I clicked yes

English exemption only available in visa 187 and 186

Yes I am fully aware of what exemptions there are but how do YOU qualify for it?

If you are not in Australia on a 457 and do not have an employer who has offered you a job in regional Australia who is an eligible sponsor? If you do not you can not apply for the visa or an exemption.

If you do not have a sponsor you can not apply at all! You need to look at other visas.

check this line please :

"If you do not have an employer who will nominate you, you can lodge an Expression of Interest through SkillSelect. Prospective employers and state and territory governments can then view your details and decide whether to nominate you for skilled migration."

So I guess it's not necessary to being sponsored at the time of applying .

Sigh, you would not be applying but would be lodging an expression of interest in the hope an employer may see your expression of interest and decide they want to offer you a job. States do not sponsor this visa. The likelyhood of an employer spotting your EOI and deciding to offer you a job on that basis is very slim to non.

If you manage to find a willing employer you need 6 ilets as exemptions only apply to those applying when already holding a 457
