Question Skills assessment

Hi there! I have started filling in my skills assessment application form, could anyone advise me of how much detail should i go into relating to my job description. As i am an electrician special class, my duties are quite complex. Everyday, is different and i could be repairing anything from lighting circuits, fitting ac/dc motors to fault finding and modifying plc programes. Where do i start? How much depth do i go into? Also, should i just write about my current role or do i go back as far as the jobs i did as an apprentice?
Would much appreciate any response relating to this. Thanks.

Hi Kate,

I would say go into quite a lot of detail. When my husband did his gardening assessment he had to go into a lot of detail. Also he had to write it in the first person.

I'm not sure how far back you have to go though....

Regards,
Karen

hey, Not sure if this is to late?? I had to show loads of evidence for my trade assessment from copies of my apprenticeship folder, previous employers and current employers work references, I got declined 3 times before they finally passed me. More the better as get expensive with having to re submitt it again.
