Passport Issues

Hello,

My partner and I are planning on applying for an Interdependency Visa soon, we have all supporting documents including leases, joint bank accounts, photos, stat decs etc. Only problem is my partner has some black marks in her passport, she was asked to leave Abu Dahbi (turned around) during transit (about 5 years ago) as they believed she had an incorrect/false UK visa, she was never charged with anything, and she was never notified of it going on record anywhere. She has also overstayed in the UK but has left on her own accord. I'm wondering if this will be thought of as a criminal offence and will prevent us from getting the Visa for her? Any similar experiences or tips would be great.
