457 sponsored visa to teach in WA

Hello
I am in the middle of applying for a sponsored visa to teach in WA. I had an interview at the recent Leeds expo and was recommended for sponsorship. I have just sent my Preliminary Assessment form back and a form for WACOT. Has anyone else had experience of this sort of sponsorship? I am worried I might end up in a school in the middle of no where - am I doing the right thing??!!!

Depends on the employer and their locations. 457 is usually tied to the employer. Other visa types (i.e. Regional Sponsored) would mean somewhere outside of Perth and could certainly include the middle of nowhere.

However that's not all that bad as some of the most beautiful places in AU are in the middle of nowhere

If you're concerned ask the employer where you might be working out of.
