Default Indian Police Clearance Certificate. Currently in Perth, please help!

Hey guys,

I have applied for my Temporary Residency. I am on my bridging visa. All documents have been submitted except for my Indian Police Clearance Certificate.

I moved to Australia in July 2009. Before that I lived in India from June 2007 to May 2009. And before June 2007 I lived in Dubai, since my dad works there. June 2009 was spent in Dubai. My passport was issued in Dubai and expires in 2015.

I have a few questions, that I hope you guys can answer:

1) Do I have to wait for my Case officer to be appointed to get my PCC or just apply for it without having to wait?

2) Do I need to apply in person at the Perth High Comissions office (at Good Earth Hotel)? Or post it?

3) How long does it take?

4) The personal particulars form: Do I need to list every address that I have been to in India, even if it was for just 1 or 2 weeks for holidays? Also, it says to provide contact number of the place I lived when I was there. What if I don't have any contact number?

5)Do I have to apply in person? Since there is a signature or thumb impression that is required in the above Particulars form. Same as Q2.

6) I will be moving in December. So my address will change in Perth. How will I notify them that my address has changed and they need to send the Police clearance certificate to a new place?

Any other tips or info is greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
