Salary Requirements

Hello all

Can you help??

I believe there is a minimum salary requirement if you manage to get a job sponsored visa. I have seen a couple of figures banded about but can someone confirm what the current minimum requirement is for an IT role if in fact there is one.

Hi,

If you go onto Department of Immigration and Citizenship and search for 'minimum salary requirements' you should find a link to the occupations in demand list, from this list take the code beside the occuption that you want to find out about and then use the link to the gazette notice which tells you the minimum salary for all the occupations. There were different postitions to do with IT but as far as I could see they all had the same minimum which was $57300. Hope that helps you.
