Default New Acs RPL application - need help

Hi,

I am trying to complete an RPL application for the ACS for ANZSCO code 262111 - database administrator.

Despite having read the ACS documentation I'm still not too sure on how to complete the application.

Does anyone have or know where I can get a completed RPL application that has been successful?

A forum member called Sobman72 commented on a thread where he uploaded his successful application - it was also for database administrator which would be a perfect example for me. Sorry, as a new member, I've been prevented from posting the thread URL. However, his uploaded document is still 'Pending Approval'. I can't PM Sobman72 as I don't have enough posts though I have left a post on the thread and hope he may see it.

Has anyone received his document or have any successful application?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Robert

Hi Robman,
My RPL applicaltion was assessed successfully fy ACS through RPL... below are some points:
1) ACS Key areas of knowledge : Mention the points in bullets
2) A brief summary of how you have learnt the area of knowledge : Start with your educational qualifications and mention in tabular format about the relevant subjects which you learnt.
3) Then mention your professional experiences and details
4) section 4 : Project reports: Mention details for 2 projects which you were part of and your duties and resopnsibilities.
Regards

cosmos1981,

thanks for your reply to my question.

I'm still a little confused about filling out the 'ACS Project Report Form'. In section one, do you still cut and paste from the list provided below? And then, in section two, do you list the area of knowledge you've just listed in section one as headings and then expand on how you've acquired them?

Would you mind sending me your Project Report Form? I understand if you would rather not however, I would be filling out for a ANZSCO code 262111 - database administrator and not as 261112-Systems Analyst as you have done. It would just be incredibly helpful to see the format of a successful application.

I also see that you are going for Victorian State Sponsorship. That's exactly what I'm going to do - database administrator is on their jobs list and I worked in Melbourne for 4 years on a 457 visa and just left in May. Also, my sister has lived there for many years so, I feel I have a strong case for applying.

When did you apply for VSS? Any suggestions you might have about going about applying for VSS would also be much appreciated.

BTW, I can't PM yet as I don't have enough posts but my email is robmanganmail at yahoo.co.uk

Thanks again for your helpful post.

Robert
