Default what things an au pair do?

It seems the au pair program is a bit new in Australia, it seems interesting to have someone at home who can do childcare besides other things, but are they able to drive and help mums cleaning? what kind of things they are allowed or not to do?
I appreciate any information, thanks

Default

They can't clean and do your chores other than those directly related to the children, ie picking up the toys, making the kids lunch, helping with children laundry.

They must have time off to study, even if they choose not to study. Can't remember the exact no of hours.

They can do basically anything related to caring for the children. And may do more if they so wish but can not be compelled to.
