Cover Letter for SA SS

Hi everybody,
I am updating my status of SA SS application submitted after 17 July.
After 17 July SA made some changes, which are:
>>Only online application, no hard copy sending is required,
>>IELTS 6.5 6.5 6.5 6.5 for ICT Skills and most other skills....

My time line:
31 July SA SS online application submitted (190/261111).
02 August SA SS acknowledgement received via email as application SUBMITTED.

What things we need to mentioned in cover letter?

Hi,

I applied to SA SS on 7th Of august. The occupation is Mechanical Engineer for 190.
Have not recieved any email yet for acknowledgement.

No you do not need a cover letter for SA SS. Read up the document requirement on their website

using a "Template" is the worst thing that you can do and you are potentially making it harder for yourself to get the SS. I believe that writing it in your own words/style is the only way out.
but a few pointers might help you get started :
list out the reasons for the below ques and you will get toy ur cover letter pretty easily...
1. why SA?
ans). job opportunities, healthy work/life balance, low cost of living compared to other states....
expand on these points and do a bit of research..

You will be happy to hear that, after the 17th July, no cover letter or any hard cpoy is required to be sent directly to SA.
Only online application and upload Skills Assessment, IELTS, Passport, Employment reference letter online.

Hi. I have applied to SA SS via their website.after submitting application i didn't receive any confirmation email.also what is next step.do i have to send docs by post to them or their are some other steps .also i noticed system has not uploaded docs

COver Letter is not a mandatory requirement but its good have one just to summarize the list of documents that you are uploading
