Smile 175 Outcome for existing 457 Holder

Hi,

I applied for 175 visa in May 2011 online ( I was in Australia when I applied for it). My case officer was assigned on 30 Nov 2011.
I have been on 457 for almost 3 years now. The CO asked me about some documents back then which I gave to him.

Just about 2 months ago, he asked me about my employment history ( I already gave him my history in Dec 2011 in form 80 but for some reason CO asked me about that question only again).
The online status of my application is showing that all requirements have been met except additional particular details.

In Jan 2012, when I spoke to the immigration over the phone, I was told that generally it takes 8 months after case officer is assigned to get PR ( I come from a high risk country). My 8 month period will be

complete by the end of this month. Today I called them and I was told that they cannot give me any indicative date. Probably last time, the other guy was just nice to give me a time frame. MY occupation is on

SOL 1 and priority group is 4 as per immigration. The website says it takes 18 month of P4 group. I have already waited for 14 months. Can any one please give me any idea about the outcome of my PR ? Will it be by the end of this month or do I have to wait for another 4 months ?

Hello

A offline question?

Where can we find the priority group list?

I would like to see which PG group my professional falls in?

Thanks

Priority groups are not for professions, they r for the visa types...

It depends on your VISA subclass, not Profession. For example

PG3: 176 (SS), 475 (SS)
PG4: 175, 176 (FS), 475 (FS)
PG5: not on SOL 1 & 2 nor Sponsored

No mate. I never asked them to begin with. I was vaguely aware that everyone needs to be for atleast 2 years. I didn't follow this thing up.

Thanks for the info. Last time when I checked my PR status online, it says "met" for medical examination. I guess I will not need to go for medical again ?
