A Lot Going On - From One WA to another WA

So, I'm here because I don't even know where to start. My fiance and his family are moving to Perth (and he is a New Zealand citizen), and I am going along with them - although this whole process, or even the idea of it, has me completely frazzled. Moving from Washington state to Western Australia is about the craziest thing I've ever even thought of.

I have my Master's degree in social work, and I am working toward my license in America. What I have gathered is that the best way to go about getting a job is going through AASW, while getting my visa through the partner visa (?). I'm not sure if I can ultimately continue working toward my license and count the hours while I'm over there (in case I end up back in USA and wanting my license in social work). If anyone has any insight on this matter, I would be really appreciative!

Also, I have two cats who are my life. Is the quarantine process for them extensive? Does anyone have any experience with bringing animals into Australia?

Also, are there are any social workers out there who have come from America to Australia? And any familiar with the social services in Perth?

I have been trying to do my research, but it's all becoming pretty overwhelming. I figured I'd see if anyone has any firsthand experience close to mine.
