Default Pet Friendly short term Accomodation

Hi,
I cant find any short term, pet friendly accomodation in Brisbane - southern suburbs preferably.
I can find a few places that are around $140 per night, but Im wanting to stay for 6 weeks (while our furniture etc is shipped from NZ), so not willing to pay that much!
I was thinking of a holiday park type of place, but cant find any pet friendly ones.
Any suggestions? There must be a lot of people who arrive in Brisbane with pets and need accom. while their belongings arrive and while they look for permanent housing?
we have a small dog.

any suggestions appreicated!
Andrea
