Default ACS additional docs

Hi All,

I have applied for ACS last week and got a reply for additional documents required as below:

Certified copy of detailed employer references from Employer.

Each employment reference must contain:
1 - Start & Finish Dates of Employment
2 - Description of Duties Performed
3 - Hours worked - Full time or Part time
4 - Country where Employment was Completed
5 - Company Letterhead and signed by the author

Please Note: ACS is unable to accept letters of appointment, self-statutory declarations or contracts as employment references.

I can get a generic reference letter from my employer like -
total years worked, type of employment, start & end date.
But my employer not ready to provide a letter with list of duties performed.

Please guide me to proceed forward.

Thanks.

1. Get the generic one from the employer
2. Try getting a detailed one from a senior colleague / manager
3. Support these with a self declaration.

Try to include awards, promotion letters, tax certificates etc.

Hi
We had the same problem.
My husband claims for 9 years of experience and worked with 4 different companies. So we submit all documents like salary slip, tax returns, notary attested letter from superiors(but not statutory declaration from supervisor) and notary attested self declaration. But they didn't consider that and ask for additional documents(same as yours) and had 30 days to submit them.
We have nothing to loose. So we contact previous employers for the letter. To our surprise they all provide the letter in company letter head.
What we did is we contact HR department directly requesting the letter in company letter head and gave them reference of our supervisor or manager whom we are/were reporting. Once they got the approval from manager they issue the letter. Dont forget the fact that it is your right to get the letter from your company. Even his present organization issue the letter (that was a real surprise). Some companies have their own format(same format used for US Green Card process- (that is what his HR said ) or some have ACS application format). If they have the system it is much more easy.
Try for that.
All the best

am in the dilemma that the managers that I had worked under at previous employers do not work there anymore.....so getting approval is becoming a tricky job...even statutory declaration doc would require a supervisory signature
