Default Hoping against all odds!!!!

Dear All,

My case was rejected by AIM in Feb '12. after having given up all hopes of a chance of moving down under.. Heart still beats for it..Need a suggestion from the forum members. It is 5 months after my rejection and i need to ask for a relook within 6 months. I can do both... either ask for a relook or wait for another month and submit a fresh application. Also with the new Step of EOI in place how much longer will it take to get a PR

Thanks

The reason for rejection was quite clear from diac...do u think getting it reviewed would turn it to a positive decision?

If I remember correctly AIM was the body that assessed you on your occupation. I am not sure reviews will work well. The option that you have Is to wait and build experience in current role and then reapply with documentation that explicitly meets AIM requirements or see if there is another Role on CSOL that closely matches your occupation and is assessed by a different body.

Alternatively I also suggest you run your case past a competent registered migration agent for advice

I am sure the people that evaluate the information has a set of guidelines to follow. Just because another person reviews the information does not mean it will be approved the second time. If the rejection was due to managerial experience being not enough, there must have be a specified time frame set by AIM to determine what would fill the requirement. With you having a new job can only be applied to a new application and not the original.

Pradiprn gave some good advice above of what you could do. Of course, the final decision is yours if you want your case to be reviewed again.

In regards to your question about EOI and how long it will get a PR. I don't think anyone will really know until you get that invitation. The new process will have people competing in regards to the points system as well as having the specific occupation in need. But I am sure if someone on this forum gets that invitation, maybe they will share the news to everyone?

There was a post by someone on this forum that sort of explained the process and how it all will work.

Default Hi

The reason i am asking is I think some how my agent Messed up the whole application.. Coz one of my friends college with a similar experience applied thru AIM and was approved. Planning to refile thru his agent as obviously he must have done his work better. The doubt that will my previous application documents have a bearing on my new application. What i mean is If my old agent had not presented my role properly as required and the new agent does a fair job, will AIM construe it as hiding or misrepresentation of facts...
