i have applied for visa on 25th june 2012 for 176 (state sponsored)

as visa rules are changing from 1st july 2012....

can i work in other state ????????

No you will still have to work in the state which sponsors you...for atleast 2 years

I think the seniors would be in better position to answer your first question.

with regard to the second, no the state govt doesnt help in finding you a job
..

If you are unable to find a job, you can apply to the state to release you from your moral obligation to live and work there for 2 years. However, you will need to prove that you have indeed been searching for work and that there is no work in your field, despite all your attempts to find one.

No, the Government will not help you find a job. You have to compete for jobs in the local market, same as everyone else. The vast majority of migrants manage to find a new job within a few weeks of arrival, so provided that you have the skills and experience that the employer is looking for, you should be able to secure employment.
