Hi with the new system kicking in on the 1st July do we no longer apply for SS? Do we put apply first through EOI then wait for SS?

I guess the EoI will change the way state sponsorships are awarded/requested...
From what's written on the website it seems that the applicant will have to tick or select for SS in the EoI itself ....

It seems at least Vic will continue as it is today? Ref to their website. Which make sense coz they often asks additional info, not sure how EOI will capture those State specific requirements

it's good to have SS before EOI because you get automatically invited to apply for the visa. but even if you don't have SS before you lodge and EOi you can always update your profile in your EOI to state that you do have SS and then hope and wait to be invited to apply for the visa.

New system helps them more. The states choose whom they want rather than we select the states in the earlier process.
